Lotus & Lathe
Sarah Richards E-RYT500
I discovered Yoga in 2002 and my personal practice eventually galvanized a desire to teach. Teaching Yoga gave me a physical interface through which to perceive humans and their search for Wholeness, whilst embracing the opportunity to facilitate this unfolding through physical movement, presence and embodiment. I have been teaching Yoga since 2012 and my style is eclectic, drawing from several schools of ideology. I teach Vinyasa, Therapeutic, Hatha and my own Yoga Soma. Inspiration for class is drawn from the students who come to practice, I theme each class based on what is called for in the moment and delight in this extraordinary, ordinary collaboration in revealing the Divine.

Yoga Soma
Currently unavailable as a studio class.
Yoga Soma is a composite Yoga practice that explores the intrinsic patterns around which we form our humanness. Using witness consciousness, curiosity and intention, Yoga Soma regulates and reorganizes these patterns to reveal our truer selves. The effects are cumulative, fostering a strong sense of liberation and vitality.
Yoga Soma has roots in Jason Shulman's Nondual Healing and Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing and they grow in the rich and nutritious ground of traditional Yoga. Classes are asana based.
